Offshore
We are transferring the technology from applications in brake discs and spacecraft to the Offshore industry, Now enhanced with 3D printing technology!
Saltwater, sand, biofouling, and heat are brutal. Our ceramic composites resist it all — no coatings, no corrosion, no compromise.
What We Develop
-
Designed to withstand saltwater, pressure fluctuations, and cyclic loading — our trim tab and foil prototypes show promising performance for small vessels and offshore platforms. Their low weight and corrosion resistance reduce maintenance and enable smoother hydrodynamic control.
-
CMCs maintain structural integrity beyond 250 °C and offer fire resistance without coatings. We're developing impact- and heat-resistant barriers for battery rooms, engine compartments, and exposed offshore systems under thermal stress.
-
For sensors used in marine or hydrogen environments, we’re creating non-conductive, corrosion-proof housings that protect against salt, heat, and mechanical shock — ideal for long-term deployments in offshore monitoring and control systems.
-
Need a nonstandard geometry or function? Our additive process enables tailored ceramic components — from one-offs to small series — including inserts, enclosures, or insulating structures with built-in reinforcement and minimal tooling time.
-
Offshore pumps are often the first to corrode. We're developing ceramic impellers, housings, and valve bodies with excellent resistance to saltwater, erosion, and pressure — extending service life and reducing unplanned downtimes.
Applications

Your Benefit
ECONOMICAL:
Save weight, save fuel – especially in high-speed or electric vessels
Reduce maintenance: no rust, no coating degradation
Avoid overengineering with superior base material
Fast turnaround: made in Europe, delivered directly
ENVIRONMENTAL:
No antifouling paints or chemical coatings needed
Long lifecycle = less waste, fewer spare parts
Made in Germany with clean ceramic processes
ESG-ready: efficient, durable, and low impact
